Dear members of Biomech_L community,
We are inviting submissions for a special open access issue in the journal of Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology (impact factor: 4.21) on the topic of “Using Motion Analysis Techniques and Musculoskeletal Modeling of the Spine to Better Understand Spinal Disorders and Evaluate Treatment Effects”. Accompanying this special issue, a half-day virtual symposium has also been organized to offer a platform for presentation and discussion of research works in this topic area. The virtual symposium is primarily aimed at offering a platform wherein researchers who would like to publish their works in our special issue can present their works and receive feedback from peers. Moreover, and very importantly, the symposium will include a selection of the best presentations, which will be up for awards in form of full or partial publication fee waivers.
Apart from the presenters, the symposium will be open to all researchers and clinicians interested in this topic. There is no registration fee, however, all interested in attending the symposium need to register.
