  • “ACL Reconstruction Strength Predictions” Proposal by Dr. Rob Buhmann, University of the Sunshine Coast, Wins Delsys Workshop Contest

    Delsys is pleased to announce Dr. Rob Buhmann of the University of the Sunshine Coast as the winner of our Galileo Workshop Contest, in conjunction with the educational workshop, “Wireless sEMG Galileo Grid Sensor: Real-World Isometric and Dynamic Movement Applications.

    As winner of the contest, Dr. Buhmann will receive a 2-Sensor Trigno NeuroMap System to investigate the ability to predict improvements in knee extension strength and rate of torque development during post-ACL reconstruction rehabilitation.

    In addition, Dr. Buhmann will receive 20 hours of collaboration time with Dr. Jim Richards of the University of Central Lancashire (UK), Dr. Matt Stock of the University of Central Florida (USA), and Dr. Paola Contessa of Delsys Inc. and Altec Inc. (USA).

    Dr. Buhmann was granted a 5 minute speaker slot during the aforementioned workshop, to present his proposal. The recording of the workshop will be posted to the “Virtual Workshop” playlist on the Delsys YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...vy17mzpaR9WlyP.

    We are tremendously excited to support Dr. Buhmann in his unique research endeavor, and we look forward to seeing the outcomes provided by the NeuroMap System.
