The Comparative Neuromuscular Biomechanics Working Group (CNB) is still accepting abstracts for a dedicated poster session at the CNB-ISB2023 meeting,up until Feb. 21. The poster session will be a ‘flash’ thematic poster session, with 2-3 minutes per presenter and an accompanying moderated ‘live discussion’.
Those that have already submitted another first-author abstract at ISB2023 are still eligible to apply for a second first-author abstract at the CNB-ISB2023 meeting.

Poster abstracts are submitted through the regular ISB submission portal: https://www.isb-jsb2023.com/abstract-submission/. Once in the system, you will need to select ‘poster’ in the dropdown for the 'Preferred Presentation session' field. Please also inform the CNB via email (CNBiomechanics@gmail.com) with your abstract submission confirmation so that we can identify submissions targeted for the CNB-ISB2023 meeting.
The CNB-ISB2023 meeting is embedded in the main ISB meeting in Japan.
The poster session is an integral part of the CNB-ISB2023 meeting, and will accompany podium presentations. The meeting will include three sessions held single-track in the same room: 1) direct in vivo experimental approaches; 2) musculoskeletal modelling and simulation; 3) robotic/engineering approaches to understanding muscle function in movement. Sessions will last 90 minutes and feature speakers and a joint round-table question/discussion period, followed by poster presentations.
