Important Dates

The papers and videos will be peer-reviewed (single-blind) for the relevance of content to the workshop and basic quality. Papers must be up to 4 pages (without references) in IEEE Conf format with 2 columns. Videos may be submitted as a standalone system demo or as a demo/experiment described in a submitted paper. Videos should be less than 3 minutes long.
We will especially encourage women and young researchers' participation, to support gender balance in robotics and the promotion of early-career researchers.

Aims and Scope
Our workshop aims to foster connections among a diverse group of researchers, experts, and professionals at the cutting edge of healthcare robotics and artificial intelligence. Our focus is to bring to light the challenges and innovative solutions involved in moving innovations from the lab to real-world clinical settings.
Specifically, the workshop seeks to:
- Review and harmonise groundbreaking technologies in robotics, AI, wearables, and sensors with the potential to transform patient care;
- Highlight the crucial role of co-creation with end-users, clinical validation, and acceptance, recognizing them as cornerstones for adhering to best practices in conducting trials, gathering relevant data, and ensuring safety;
- Unfold the challenges of building commercially viable products and the in-depth comprehension of ethics and regulatory requisites;
- Showcase success stories and case studies highlighting the challenges and effective strategies for different cases;
An underlying theme of the event is the power of interdisciplinary cooperation, bringing together the expertise of engineers, rehabilitation scientists, clinicians, care professionals, and industry and non-academic partners. Our objective is to outline a pathway for the community to seamlessly integrate assistive technologies into society.
