  • Special Issue of Frontiers in Neurorobotics journal: "Neuro-Prosthetics and Orthotics: Performance Evaluation vs. User Satisfaction"

    Dear Research Community,

It is our honor to announce the Special Issue of Frontiers in Neurorobotics journal: "Neuro-Prosthetics and Orthotics: Performance Evaluation vs. User Satisfaction"

One of the important questions that might strike the mind when looking at the desired and actual trajectories in neuro-prosthetics and orthotics is that "Does a good trajectory following represent user satisfaction?"
How much strict trajectory following is really required? What's the possible relationships between "acceptable levels" of errors and user experience?

These questions have led us, Prof. Mo Rastgaar and I (Dr.-Ing. Mahdy Eslamy), the Guest Editors of Frontiers in Neurorobotics journal, to establish a Special Issue revolving around trajectory following vs. user satisfaction/acceptance in neuro-prosthetics and orthotics.

please give us the honor to read through the Announcement:
