I am a movement science graduate student. Can anyone please share information on EMG hip muscle profiles in subjects with toe-in gait? It has been proposed that with excessive medial femoral torsion the hip abductors produce an extensor moment (Clark & Haynot, 1987) and the gluteus medius contribution to composited hip abductor mean peak EMG amplitude is reduced during isometric activation (Nyland et al., 2004). Thank you!
