The application deadline for the Force and Motion Foundation's Spring 2011 Travel Awards is Monday, May 23 at 9:00 a.m.
To apply for a Spring Travel Award, students are asked to upload one of their previously accepted conference posters to the Force and Motion Foundation's Virtual Poster Session, a new resource for information exchange and networking within the academic community. The Summer 2011 Travel Award program will begin immediately after the Spring application cycle closes on Monday.
An academic scholarship program is currently slated for this fall; application forms and details will be posted on the Foundation's Web site mid-summer. Please see ForceAndMotion.org for further information.
The Force and Motion Foundation is a newly created 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, fully funded by AMTI to support students in fields related to multi-axis force measurement and testing. The Foundation sponsors travel awards and educational scholarships for graduate students on a continual basis. More than $50,000 in funds have already been allocated for distribution in the coming year.
