    Hi Ray,

That would be very useful to me.

I would appreciate very much if you can send it to me.

    Regards.

    Hi Juan,
These two papers may provide some of the information you need, but take note that both had subjects populations that bordered on the threshold of obesity (mean BMI values ranged from ~27(overweight, not obese) to 34 kg/m2):

Chambers et al. The effect of obesity and gender on body segment parameters in older adults. Clinical Biomechanics 2010, 25(2):131-6.

Matrangola et al. Changes in body segment inertial parameters of obese individuals with weight loss. Journal of Biomechanics 2008, 41:3278-81.

If you have to collect any data on obese participants, the following may also be helpful:
LaForgia et al. Validation of DXA body composition estimates in obese men and women. Obesity 2009, 17(4):821-6.

    Best of luck,

started a topic I´m looking information about morbid obese

I´m looking information about morbid obese

    Hi,

I am doing my final project to get my college degree in mechanical engineering , my project is the design of a morbid obese transfer system from the hospital beds to trolley or a wheel chair, and I'm looking information about anthropometric of the morbid obese, ergonomics to the morbid obese, body fat distribution, body parts weight, etc.

I really appreciate if anyone can help me on this issue or if you know where can I find this kind of information.

    Thanks

    Juan.-
