    Re: Jump Mats

    Stuart.
    We have a Smartjump system:

    Manual with some useful information:
    http://fusionsport.com/portal/compon...62/Itemid,348/

It's not bad, runs off a Windows PocketPC with an additional 'sleeve' that interfaces to the mat, and will do the things you've asked for.
The software is a little quirky but fairly quick and simple to use. The mat itself seems robust and is quite large. Not sure about the cost but they have a UK distributor in Cardiff.

    Stuart,

Take a look at Just Jump. I used them in undergrad and recall them doing all or most of what you are looking for.

    Jump Mats

    Hello,

We are looking at buying a new jump mat to aid with teaching. We were wondering if anyone has any reccommendations on this.

Specfically, we would like the following specifications:
    -Ground contact time (GCT)
    -Flight time
    -Jump height
-GCT/Jump height ratio (ie reactive strenght)
-Repetitive jumps (contact time and jump height/time)

    Thank you for any help
