Dear Biomch-L subscriber,
We are receiving the support of a IT college (Bandtec) to correct our clinical database used in gait laboratory.
An example of our current database is in the link below, in the last option of the page (pdf file format):
(This data is specific to the Helen Hayes model and gait analysis with Vicon/Nexus PiG system)
The information of muscular force tests and joint amplitudes, biomechanical measures, lists of pathologies and patient's medical history (surgeries, medication) will be reviewed and extended to other applications of motion capture technology: evaluation of upper limbs, new foot models, trunk, (animals too) etc.
We would like to receive, if possible, information from other laboratories to create a multi-user database.
This project will be developed in the coming months. The interface will be translated for the English language and the distribution of copies will be free of charge.
