  • Maxtraq

I was going to purchase some Maxtraq 2D licences for use in class to supplement the free student version available through the Human Kinetics textbook "Biomechanics of Sport and Exercise" by Peter McGinnis. However, I don't seem to get any response from the phone numbers given on the Maxtraq or Innovision Systems company websites - I just get a US answer service and never get called back. I just wondered whether anyone knew if the company is still operating? If not, can anyone recommend similar cheap and easy 2D digitising software for first year undergraduates practicals?
    Thanks for your help.
    Sam.

    Re: Maxtraq

    Hi Samantha,

Hope this email finds you well! I believe you tried calling me (Motion Analysis Products) a couple days ago. Sadly, your voice mail was all garbled so I didn't know who to respond to. I am sorry this happened, but I am here to assist you now. I sent you an email today so that we could further our conversation.

As for Innovision Systems, I am not sure about that company. MAP supplies all the software that is found in the biomechanics books/MaxTRAQ Ed through Lippincott, McGraw-Hill and Human Kinetics.

Should any one else need assistance, please contact me directly. I am here to assist you in all your MoCap, EMG and force requirements.
