Hi,
Its 60 years this month since the publication of Saunders, Inman and Eberhart's classic paper on the Determinants of Gait. To mark this I'm writing a series of posts to my blog (http://wwrichard.net/blog/). You can view the first one there now which explores whether the authors ever did claim that the aim of walking was to reduce the excursion of the total body centre of mass.
Do leave a comment if you disagree with my opinion.
