  • Syncronizing Pliance sensor with forceplate

    Hi all,
We are going to do an experiment in computing pressure distrubution on the tibial surface during walking using Pliance sensor. Ground Reaction Forces also should be recorded simultaneously using two forceplates. There is a challange on synchoronize these two data sets. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

If it is Novel pliance sensor system family, it has TTL in and out feature for synchronization. You can use this feature to synch both pliance sensor and Force Platform data streams together, for example by registering a common time marker. Force Platforms' Data Acquisition system too would have similar feature. Or you can use NI or any other DAQ system with synch-in/synch-out capability to take analog output from Force Platforms.

      Thank you for the answer.
It is a Novel sensor but we do not have the sync box. So, I can not use the TTL in/out feature directly.
