  • Collecting Nexus data at specified increments

I would like to collect Vicon Nexus data at specific time increments for a specific period of time (i.e. collect data every 30 seconds for 2 second
intervals). Has anyone been able to do this within Vicon Nexus, version 1.8.4? Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Have you contacted Vicon? They would be the best to advise you.

The GPIO interface that is part of the MX hardware provides the ability to automate starting and stopping capture. A signal generator programmed to generate square wave pulses with the desired on/off duty cycle would achieve what you want. We've used the GPIO interface to wire a remote control switch box to control capture. Check the MX hardware reference manual.
