I am beginning my first semester as a senior at Washington State University in mechanical engineering with a materials science minor. I am interested in going for a masters degree in the area of biomechanics relating to ligament injuries or prosthesis (either implants or braces). I am open to traveling internationally for this degree as well. I was just wondering if there is some school that I should look more into? Is there a person of interest that you feel it would be helpful to contact? If I were to get a masters degree in Australia or Europe and transfer back to the US to look for a job, would that degree hold the same merit if I received it in the US? Any tips would be very helpful as I am in the very beginning stages of looking at specific places to go. Thank you for your time.

Re: Potential Masters Student With Questions
In my experience a degree from a solid overseas program holds the same weight as a degree from a program in the US.
I recommend looking at the job board on Biomch-L. There are frequently posts for MS assistantships.
As a shameless plug for our program. We have one listed currently.
