Extrapolation of movements to different anthropometrics and velocities

I am looking for literature or information about methods to extrapolate movements.
Example. Imagine we have recorded the running movement of a short man and a tall man. And we want to calculate how a man of averege height moves.

Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The paper is very interesting. I have used PCA in the past to anlayse pressures and forces (force platforms), but not with 3D coordinates.
