The International Foot and Ankle Biomechanics Community (i-FAB) held its 4th biennial meeting in Busan, South Korea in April 2014 (http://www.i-fab2014.org). The next meeting will be June 23-25, 2016 as part of International Foot 2016 in Berlin.
One of the goals of i-FAB is to create an open data repository relevant to foot biomechanics. Examples of typical datasets might be: joint kinematics; plantar pressure distributions; STL files of anatomical structures; FE meshes etc. Ideally, there will also be an accompanying MATLAB script that will read the data file(s), if appropriate.
If you have a dataset that you would like to share, please contact me with the following information and I will work with you to bring it into the repository.
· Category of data (e.g. kinematics, plantar pressure, segmented anatomy, computational model, etc.)
· Size
· Format (e.g. raw data, mesh, STL file, file extension)
· Number of Subjects
· MATLAB Script available. Y/N?
· Reference to Publication (if available)
