  • Clinical parameters for scoliosis detection

    Hello!

I'm a college student and I'm working on a project for my professor who's working on a 3d scanner for detection of scoliosis. He would like to know what clinical parameters that are important in detection of scoliosis are usually extracted from 3d scanning and displayed for the clinician. I've learned that Cobb angle is the "golden standard", but I would like to know what other parameters could be relevant to detect scoliosis.
The problem is that all 3d scanners for posture analysis that are on the market are poorly described on their web pages. The only one that
was of any help was this one http://www.diersmedical.com/Files/In...alysis_USA.pdf.

I would appreciate if someone could help me or at least direct me where to find my answers.

    Thanks, Martina
