  • Measurement of Trunk flexion/extension

    Hi,

I would like to know how to measure trunk flexion 30 degrees and extension 15 degrees?
and is there anyone know if a person doing flexion 30 degrees, how many degrees act on each spine joint?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Best Regards,
    Joanne

    Re: Measurement of Trunk flexion/extension

    Hi Joanne,
One way is to take a video or photo and pass it through KINOVEA, kinovea.org.
You can measure angles, distance etc.
Another easy way is with inertial Motion Units, accelerometers etc. But this is more expensive and needs some design.
