Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Joint mechanics data for seven Open Knee(s) Generation 2 specimens are available for download at the project site:
The data are in a raw form, i.e. as collected by a robotics joint testing system, and complement anatomical imaging data sets for the same specimens. The data reflect the mechanical characteristics of the tibiofemoral and patellofemoral joints. The tibiofemoral joint response under laxity conditions and under combined loading was quantified. Patellofemoral joint pose, orientation, and contact pressures under different flexion angles and quadriceps load were measured.
Please feel free to utilize these data for any purpose. We are very interested in hearing your experience when using these data for modeling and simulation of the knee.
Best,
Ahmet
