  • AMTI force platform wanted: dead or alive

    Hi
After 20+ years, one of our AMTI LG6-4 force platforms has suffered a fatal injury; one of the 4 6DOF transducer shells cracked.
This is a 1.2m long plate.
As he has for more than 20 years, Gary Blanchard at AMTI has been super about helping us to diagnose the problem.
But, the cost of repair = cost of a new platform (~$16k).
I don't have that kind of cash just sitting around so, if you have a similarly old AMTI platform from the era ~1994 that is working fine or is also mortally wounded, and would like to sell it, please contact me.

    thanks,

Re: AMTI force platform wanted: dead or alive

    Hi Rodger,

We build custom-made force plates for biomechanics for laboratories. We are based in France.
You can check some of our work on http://www.kapa-invent.eu/force-plates

If you are interested we can discuss on your specidications.
    I think, a 6DOF force plate of 1.2x1.2m should cost around 10-15k.

    Best Regards
