Hello Biomch-L members,
I have recently read the newly published book: Fundamentals of Neuromechanics by Francisco Valero-Cuevas, http://www.springer.com/us/book/9781447167464 .
I do not merely mean to advertise the book, I thought it would be in the interest of the Biomch-L members, in particular the motor control community, to share the existence of this book that tries to revisit recent conceptual and computational frameworks to study how the nervous system exploits the anatomical properties of limbs to produce mechanical function. I believed it was worthwhile to share such information since the book could be an interesting textbook for either researchers and teachers for motor control or biomechanics courses.
