The FY16 PRORP challenges the scientific community to address the most significant gaps in care for the leading burden of injury and loss of fitness for military duty by funding innovative, high-impact, clinically relevant research to advance optimal treatment and rehabilitation from neuromusculoskeletal injuries (excluding spinal cord injuries) sustained during combat or combat-related activities.
