  • Oculus Rift as a Display

Does anyone have experience using Oculus Rift as a monitor? I am attempting to integrate the headset into my laboratory, and using LabVIEW software to run a Polhemus magnetic tracking system, which I have done for many years. I want to be able to display the output on the Oculus Rift for subjects, but having trouble getting it set up to be detected as a display in Windows 10. Any help would be most appreciated.

You will need to develop an interface to Oculus from LabView using it's SDK. Something like https://www.labviewmakerhub.com/doku...-reality:start. For position and orientation, you will use output data stream from Polhemus, not Oculus sensors. Also, Labview should also be able to generate compatible 3D stereo views for rendering onto Oculus.
