  • student video competition: help us put biomechanics on the map in canada

    Hi Everyone,

I have a bit of a favour to ask. The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada recently held a video competition for students doing NSERC funded research, and my lab group decided to enter. NSERC is the main funding body for basic and applied science in Canada, and biomechanics is not even identified as a research category.

Their video is called Improving Knees with Ease and they have actually made it to the finals. They are now competing with other labs from across Canada and the video with the highest number of views wins the competition.

This is a great opportunity to help us put biomechanics on NSERC's radar. Please have a look at their video and, if you like it, share it as much as possible, especially with your students.

    Thank you,
