  • Double Support Movement Inverse Dynamics with Balanced Loading Assumption

    Hello All,

Thanks to Dr. Allan Carman I progressed my understanding on 3D inverse dynamics of double support movement (e.g weightlifting) using single (wide) force plate.
I understand now that it's possible under the assumption of balanced loading under each foot although it means sacrificing output quality of the calculation.

However I am still guessing the model of inverse dynamics used with balanced loading assumption, does it mean:
    - simply dividing the 'single GRF components' into two equal GRF under each foot
    - vanishing Fy (Assuming Fy=0 all the time) and then dividing remaining 'single GRF components' into two equal GRF under each foot
    - 'mirroring' one body side kinematics into another before applying forces to each foot

I will be very thankful for any explanation

    Have a great day!
Working...
