Call for Papers: Sports Engineering Special Edition - Measuring Behaviour in Sport & Exercise (https://www.springer.com/engineering.../journal/12283)
Sports Engineering and equipment development is ultimately linked to the measurement of behavior. Whether it is how the equipment interacts with the human body, or how the player perceives the equipment, these aspects are key to equipment design and uptake. Researchers developing methodological protocols in measuring behavior are invited to submit manuscripts describing original research, review papers or technical notes.
Topics
Papers on any topics which fit the theme of the Special Collection will be considered. All papers must fit the Aims and Scope of Sports Engineering and might include:
• Development of new technologies, software or measurement devices
• Novel methods to measure equipment-player interactions
• Novel methods to measure human or animal performance, movement and data
• Sports and fitness data integration
• Human perception of equipment
Deadline for manuscript submission using the journal's online submission system is 1st July 2019. All manuscripts will undergo the usual review process.
