    A very good article Chris, thank you for posting the link. The traditional quote, that I was taught in my 6th form Statistics course at school, is "Lies, damned lies, and statistics" - I trust statistics, but I don't necessarily believe them because we were taught, and shown, that they were easy to be manipulated.

    All the time we see the claims in the news that some drug or treatment will reduce the chance of an illness 50% ... this sounds wonderful!!!! Until you look at the numbers and find the the chance of getting sick anyway is only 1 in 10,000.
