IMU brand recommendations

Dear community,

Apart from the major players like XSens and Noraxon, are there recommended brands for IMUs.

Broad requirements:

- As low a cost as possible (e.g. < £5000)
- measure a spectrum of activities from high impact like running to walking
- can measure 3D joint angles as well as accelerations
- Mainly interested in trunk-lower limb mechanics
- Comes with software that can do things like derive joint angles, gait events
- weather proof, can withstand rain

Hi Bernard,

In our lab we use IMeasureU (https://imeasureu.com/imu-sensor/)
Their sensors record up to 1600Hz and 200G which is great to record quick acceleration like jumping.
As for the software it can use the Vicon Nexus software or an app (Capture.U).
