The newest edition of the UNO Biomechanics Annual Report and Newsletter focuses not only on the department's influence within UNO and the Omaha metro area, but the entire world. Our accomplishments during 2022-2023 have been extraordinary, including our 10 year anniversary of our building opening and the awarding of a new National Institutes of Health (NIH) COBRE grant to establish the Center for Cardiovascular Research in Biomechanics (CRiB) led by Dr. Alexey Kamenskiy.
Furthermore, we shine a spotlight on our exceptionally talented students – undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral candidates – who not only share the captivating narratives of their journey to become part of UNO’s Department of Biomechanics but also unveil their remarkable dedication to groundbreaking work and research.
We hope that you enjoy the 2022-2023 Biomechanics Annual Report!
