  • Lighting for High Speed Video Capture

I would like to know what light sources are being used to capture high speed video for analysis. I currently have four 150W outdoor LED flood lights (5000 lumen) installed along the wall 6' apart at a height of 7'. I also have two standing 150W LED flood lights (5000 lumens) positioned on each side of an IDS industrial camera. They are approximately 15 feet away from a gait path that is 16' long. The room is a 30' X 25' room. The camera is capturing at 60 fps and 1/500 shutter speed. We sometimes use this camera to capture at a rate of 120 fps and 1/1000 shutter speed. I also have an iSpeed camera that can catch up to 2000 fps. The issue is the lights are fluctuating in the video. I understand that it would do that with 120 - 2000 fps, but not at the 60 fps. Does anybody have some suggestions as ways to resolve this, or are there some lighting standards I am should know about?
