  • Importing QTM Data into Vicon -- Issues with Force Signal Detection

    Hello Biomch-L Community,

We are attempting to import data collected via Qualisys into Vicon to incorporate into our current workflow for data processing. Marker trajectories and force plate locations get populated however, we are having issue with displaying force/analog signals within Vicon. It appears that Vicon is not recognizing force data even though they are present in C3D files and when viewed through 3rd party software like MOKKA. Has anyone had success with importing data in this way? Any help is appreciated !

For reference we are collecting force plate data Analog using AMTI plates and Optima amplifiers.

Perhaps, with some luck, Mr. Edmund Cramp will read the message and clarify the reasons for the data conversion errors. Some useful material is available at the link below, from the c3d.org website. The biomechanics forum itself has some older posts with questions about the conversion of signals and parameters of force platforms in Vicon and Qualisys. I hope this brief information can assist in your research.
