How is biomechanics currently used in osteoarthritis research and clinical care, and what influences its use?
An international research team led by Karl Morgan, Jade He, Michael Hunt and Kerry Costello is conducting this global survey as an initiative of the OARSI Human Movement Discussion Group.
We want to hear from osteoarthritis researchers and healthcare professionals who treat people with osteoarthritis. Importantly, you do not need to currently use biomechanics to participate. Perspectives from both users and non-users of biomechanics are essential for understanding existing applications, practical barriers, unmet needs and opportunities for wider implementation.
The findings will help identify priorities for future research, training and resource development, while informing strategies to translate biomechanical knowledge more effectively into osteoarthritis research and care.
The anonymous survey takes approximately 10–20 minutes to complete.
