The Department of Health and Nutritional Sciences (HNS) is inviting
applications for a 9-month tenure track position with rank of assistant
professor in the area of Biomechanics to begin August 22, 2011. The role of
this faculty member will be to establish an independent, externally funded
research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biomechanics
and contribute to one of the other programs within the department (athletic
training, health promotion/exercise science or physical education teacher
education), mentor student research, and participate in service
responsibilities at the university and national levels. The successful
candidate will be able to provide evidence of the potential to secure
external funds and the commitment to quality instruction.
