  • PhD Fellowships - 'MOVE-AGE' Erasmus Mundus Programme onpreventing mobility loss during ageing

The application process for Erasmus Mundus funded 3 year PhD fellowships (9
available in this round) has just opened. For specific information
pertaining to the programme, the application process and application forms
    please visit: www.move-age.eu

Briefly, the Joint Doctorate Program 'MOVE-AGE', is funded by the European
Commission as part of the Erasmus Mundus program. Approximately 50 PhD
students over the coming 5 years will receive a fellowship to study in
different areas around the central theme of the programme which is how can
mobility be maintained during ageing. Within MOVE-AGE translational research
will be performed to generate knowledge and to train a new generation of
scientists to address this problem. Each fellow will be supervised by
top-level researchers from at least two of the three participating
institutes: MOVE of VU University Amsterdam, the Institute for Biomedical
Research into Human Movement and Health (IRM) of Manchester Metropolitan
University and the Doctoral School Exercise and Physical Activity in Health
and Disease of the K.U. Leuven.
