Medical Metrics, Inc. (MMI), a Houston, TX-based imaging core lab seeks a qualified post-doctoral fellow to support a federally-funded grant involving development of image analysis techniques and methodology. The successful candidate will have a PhD in bio/biomedical engineering, computer science, or related discipline, possess good knowledge of conventional clinical imaging modalities, demonstrate in-depth experience in one or more of the following areas – biomechanics, musculoskeletal patho-physiology and treatment regimens, image analysis techniques, and possess a track record of relevant research in the field. Primary responsibilities of the person hired will include researching image and pattern matching algorithms, implementing and testing such techniques, analyzing and publishing results and collaborating with MMI’s interdisciplinary staff on ongoing research and clinical projects involving biomedical imaging. The position is available immediately and the search will continue until a suitable candidate is selected.
