We are looking for a PhD-student to work on one of the knee projects at the Orthopaedic Research Lab of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Job Profile
In collaboration with the orthopaedic industry and international research partners from the UK and USA, the candidate will focus on improving/expanding our finite element (FE) knee model. Our model has been developed to analyze deep knee flexion, while concurrently trying to solve relevant clinical issues. FE modeling work is alternated with experimental (cadaveric) and clinical work. Publications will be submitted to scientific peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements
MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with experience in numerical modeling/finite element analysis.
