    The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting a post-doctoral researcher to study osteoarthritis, connective tissue repair, and mechanobiology. Motivated scientists interested in the areas of cell signaling, apoptosis, tissue repair, and animal models are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will work on interdisciplinary area of arthritis and cartilage biology.

    Candidates with doctorates in engineering or life science and 0-3 years of previous postdoctoral training are encouraged to apply. Requirements include strong experimental skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicants with strong publications and prior experience in the areas of cell apoptosis and NF-kB/MAPK signal pathways are highly desirable.
