Traineeships in Industrial and Systems Engineering - Occupational Safety & Ergonomics

Individuals who are interested in pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, with a focus in Occupational Safety & Ergonomics are encouraged to consider our program at Ohio State University. OSU has one of the strongest human factors and ergonomics programs in the country. We provide students with learning experiences that include course work in occupational health & safety, ergonomics, human factors, biomechanics, and related topics, as well as research activities, an applied practicum, and internships.

Plans of study are designed to meet the interests and goals of each student. Dual MS programs may be constructed, such as ISE + ME or ISE + MPH.

Financial support (“traineeships”), consisting of tuition, health insurance, and a monthly stipend is provided to a limited number of full-time students (must be US citizen or resident); funding is provided through a NIOSH Training Program Grant.

Financial support is available for the 2011-2012 academic year.
