Employment Opportunity – INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER
Biometrics Ltd (www.biometricsltd.com), a specialist medical device manufacturer based in Gwent, South Wales, UK, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of electronic/electromechanical precision sensors and instrumentation for niche Biomechanics, Medical, Sport Research, and Engineering markets.
Biometrics Ltd has the requirement for an International Sales Manager. This newly created position reports directly to the Director, Sales & Marketing.
Job Specification:
•Responsible to grow sales of medical devices for clinical and research markets
•Manage international distributors
•Supervise internal sales/sales support staff
•“Hands on” approach to sales and management to ensure company and distributor sales personnel are trained in the device operation, clinical/scientific application, and proper use of company products as well as effective techniques for sales presentations to prospects, installation of purchased equipment, and post-sales support
•Develop Sales support materials
•Develop Customer support materials
•Work as part of the Management team responsible for maintaining the company Quality System
•Work as part of the Design Team for new product development
Requirements:
•Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in science, biomedical engineering, or clinical allied health
•Experience: Requires 5+ years of clinical/medical device technical direct field sales with 3+ years of international sales management experience
•High level English language communications skills
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and Claris FileMaker Pro
•Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, European and other international Medical Device regulations
•Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
The ideal candidate is able to work independently on multiple priorities/projects simultaneously in a dynamic, challenging enviornment as part of a motivated, focused team. Remuneration commensurate with skills and experience.
