A 3-year PhD program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy. Candidates should own a MS degree. Start date: January 2012. Salary: 16-22 kEuros before tax.
In addition to the PhD positions in bioengineering at the University of Bologna already posted, a new position is now available under the agreement between the University of Bologna and the University of Sassari (Sardinia, Italy). The successful candidate will operate under the supervision of prof. Ugo Della Croce at the University of Sassari and will join a young, motivated, multidisciplinary and multicultural group. The project will be on inertial sensing of locomotion: validation and clinical applications. The laboratory is located in the Research Park of Alghero, Sardinia, together with small ICT companies and includes two motion analysis systems, two force platforms, a wireless EMG system and a number of inertial measurement units.
