    Research Engineer Position
    University of Michigan Human Neuromechanics Laboratory


    The Human Neuromechanics Laboratory at the University of Michigan is looking for a well organized, dependable individual to conduct biomechanics research, set up and troubleshoot equipment (including Vicon motion analysis system, EMG, force platforms and robotic exoskeleton systems), write computer programs, and collect & analyze experimental data. Additional duties will include conducting general library research; assisting laboratory staff with experiments; ordering equipment and supplies; and minor clerical work.

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Kinesiology required. Master's degree preferred. Experience with computer programming (Matlab, Simulink), electronics troubleshooting, motion analysis (Vicon), EEG, EMG, Visual 3D, and/or robotic exoskeletons is desirable.

    Start Date: As soon as possible

    Salary Range: $30,000 - $50,000 US, with excellent benefits including retirement contributions
