Auburn University. Three Assistant Professors, tenure track in Fitness, Conditioning and Performance in the Department of Kinesiology to start no sooner than January 2012. Required: Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field. Enthusiasm, ambition, and a history of success. Expertise in fitness, conditioning, and performance. Specialties may include biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise and sport psychology, and motor learning. Evidence of potential in grant scholarship and external funding; strong publication record, and evidence of innovative research. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and work place collegiality. Must meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time appointment begins, and be able to continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Desired: University teaching experience; active participation in pertinent professional organizations; relevant practical/clinical experience and certifications; experience with on-line teaching and learning.
