The HipKneeArkansas Foundation in Little Rock Arkansas is seeking a biomechanics research engineer to conduct three-dimensional whole body biomechanics research. The position entails conducting research and testing related to various lower extremity clinical studies in joint replacements and functional outcomes following surgery in conjunction with surgeons from Arkansas Specialty Orthopaedics. Applicants with a B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, biomechanics or a related field are preferred. Experience in three-dimensional motion capture (VICON experience is a plus), EMG and patient outcomes testing is desirable. We are seeking candidates with a strong scientific background and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
