    The School of Exercise Science at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences. The School comprises staff and students across three campuses, Melbourne, Sydney (Strathfield), and Brisbane. The School offers a range of dynamic and exciting programs in Exercise Science at undergraduate level, Exercise Physiology at postgraduate level, and Honours, Masters, and Doctor of Philosophy research degrees.
    The staff team includes researchers, lecturers and clinical supervisors who educate students and conduct research in the breadth of Exercise Science, ranging from sports science, elite athlete preparation, sports coaching, PE teaching, exercise and health, recreation leadership, sport management, to the clinical applications of exercise with healthy, chronic disease, and injured populations. In addition, staff and students of the School are committed to the ongoing development of unique programs applying sport and exercise as a vehicle for community development (e.g. Community sport camps in Timor Leste).
    As the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will make a significant contribution to the School's teaching of core subjects in the Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science program, through the development and provision of lecture, tutorial and laboratory classes. You will also contribute to the administration/course coordination of the School's programs, as assigned by the Head of School; undertake academic and research activities within the School and accept a Lecturer-in-Charge role.
    To be successful in this position, you will possess a higher degree relevant to Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), along with teaching experience at a tertiary level, including Lecturer-in-charge duties. You will show an understanding of the articulation of Exercise Science and PDHPE in NSW, including the NSW PDHPE curriculum. Relevant administrative experience is also essential.
    Total remuneration valued to $89,536 - $106,307 pa, including salary component $75,659 - $89,845 pa (Academic Classification Level B); or $109, 623 - $ 126,221 pa, including salary component $92,679 - $106,866 pa (Academic Classification Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
