The Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopaedics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City is seeking applicants for a tenure track faculty position with expertise in orthopaedic soft tissue biology, although outstanding applicants in a wide range of research areas will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent extramurally funded research program and to collaborate with engineering, basic science, and clinical faculty in and beyond the department. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in molecular biology or in a related field with a strong record emphasizing orthopaedic soft tissue applications. While preference will be given for candidates at the Associate Professor and Professor levels, outstanding candidates at the Assistant Professor level are also encouraged to apply.
