    We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer into our established Performance Analysis group. An holistic view of performance analysis is achieved through the study of sport biomechanics; technique and notational analysis; as well as motor control and learning; injury mechanics, kinesiology and rehabilitation. The group is research active and contributes to academic enterprise, as well as delivering taught modules and projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    Salary From: £29,972 p.a Salary To: £44,016 p.a

    The successful applicant will make a significant contribution to the department’s learning and teaching, research activity and academic enterprise in the area of performance analysis. Specifically we are seeking someone who can contribute to sports biomechanics and performance analysis. Depending on the level of experience, there are opportunities for the post holder to take on a programme leadership role for the MSc in Performance Analysis of Sport which is delivered collaboratively between our partner Universities in Germany and Spain. The post holder will also be joining the Performance Analysis Research Team which has expertise in functional biomechanics, sports injury, notation and match analysis, as well as coaching science and feedback. Background information on the Department of Sport Science. Nottingham Trent University has a long and established history for delivering sport related programmes. The Sports Science department currently comprises 20 academic staff, 10 PhD research students as well as undergraduate (circa 550 students) and postgraduate (circa 25 students) cohorts. Recent investments into the department has enhanced our physical resources, research environment and the student learning experience. With bespoke sport management and sport psychology suites, a biomechanics and neuromuscular performance laboratory in the £4m Natural Sciences Research Centre, British Olympic Association approved environmental chamber, recently refurbished performance analysis suite and 3 physiology laboratories, we offer an environment of excellence and invite you to join us.
