Salary: Grade E £19,822 - £22,325
An enthusiastic and self-motivated person is required to work in this newly created post in the Allied Health Research Unit at University of Central Lancashire, UK. You will support with the development of the research portfolio of the established Allied Health Research Cluster. You will contribute to securing of external competitive grants, publish high-impact refereed papers both independently and in collaboration with members of staff in the Allied Health Research Cluster, and assist with the ongoing supervision of postgraduate research students.
You should have a good first degree, postgraduate research degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related discipline, experience in research using quantitative and qualitative research techniques and of writing research reports. Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
• Experience with Human Physiological testing
• Knowledge of methods Biomechanical testing
• Evidence of ability to independently plan research activity
The post is available immediately and is tenable for 12 months. There will be contact with patients in clinical environments and the post therefore will require CRB Clearance.
