    Position: Doctoral Teaching Assistant

    Job Description: The Department of Movement Sciences at the University of Idaho is seeking highly motivated athletic training professionals for doctoral assistantships beginning summer 2012. A competitive stipend will be provided in addition to a full out-of-state tuition waiver. To be eligible for a doctoral teaching assistantship, you must apply for and be accepted into one of our 2 exciting doctoral programs:
    • PhD in Education, with an emphasis in Exercise Science
    • PhD in Neuroscience
    Primary duties: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the department’s accredited athletic training education program (ATEP), conduct departmental research with program faculty, mentor ATEP students, pursue grant opportunities, and assist faculty with the organizational and administration of the ATEP.

    Qualifications: Candidates for the doctoral TA positions must be Board of Certification (BOC) certified.
