  • Research Fellowship Competition at York

The Centre for Anatomical and Human Sciences (CAHS) is holding a competition to attract outstanding postdoctoral researchers to our group at the Hull York Medical School. The intention of the competition is to identify high-achieving early career anatomists and functional morphologists. That is, those researchers in our scientific field who show the greatest research potential. We aim to nurture such talent by providing support in the preparation and submission of an independent research fellowship application, and by the provision of a high-performing and dynamic research environment in which to undertake the project if the fellowship application is successful.

We are inviting applicants whose research interests match those of the centre, and who wish to further their career with an independent research fellowship, to submit an application to our research fellowship competition. The successful applicant will receive a prize of £500 and the support and guidance of CAHS staff in applying for a fellowship.

Please see www.hyms.ac.uk/cahsfellowship for details of eligibility and how to enter the competition. Candidates are encouraged to contact members of CAHS staff for advice prior to submitting an application.

Submissions should be emailed to roxana.freeman@hyms.ac.uk with the subject line ‘Fellowship Competition’ by 4pm on Monday 19th March 2012.
